This type of meditation can be done in any situation. It is used by students at hospitals to help them recover from surgery and stay in that state of meditation for longer periods of time. This form of meditation works best when you are alone. However, it is very easy to do with a friend. It is most effective when done during the day, rather than at night, because it requires more concentration and your mind and body need to work together.

This is probably the most common form of meditation. You sit comfortably and just let your mind go where it wants to go. This meditation is usually done on an empty stomach, which is very helpful because you do not want to eat too much during this time.
